On our first evening in storybook town of Banff we took a ride to the outskirts of town to the shore of the Bow River. Looking across to the Bow River Falls with the sun setting behind was a perfect introduction to the magic of Banff National Park. The weather and water worn rocks were a fascinating mix of colors, shapes, and sizes and were the perfect counter point to the falls and hills across the river.
