North Rim Sunrise

from $550.00

Most people visit the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. It is more accessible and has more amenities. The North Rim is the wilderness experience. The Access is more challenging and limited. It is this difference that brings a different intrigue to it. The setting is amazing as one would expect. The rim is on average over 1,000 ft higher in elevation and the high points are notably higher. This particular morning I walked out along the sometimes precarious path in the dark to watch the first light of day dance across the canyon floor. The red and burgundy butte walls would catch the light and come alive almost as if lit from within. It was magical, peaceful and exhilarating. The cool fresh air began to warm. The light spread and the canyon burst to life.
