The Light

from $250.00

What an amazing view! With a little research and advice, I found the perfect vantage point for watching (and photographing) the Parisian sunset. I had two opportunities to go to this location, and I didn’t want to take a chance of missing something good. I’m glad I did, because the 2nd night in Paris was perfectly cloudless. There was absolutely nothing interesting about the sky.

There were challenges, though. The rooftop of this building was closed, so I had to photograph the cityscape through a fairly dirty window as well as dealing with reflections from the indoor lights and the crowds trying to push up to the windows. It was all worth the effort.

Camera: Nikon Z7
Lens: Nikkor 50mm f/1.8
Settings: f/5.6, 5 sec, ISO 64 - pano
Edition Size: 100
Typical Print Size :
(1:2 ratio) 15” x 30″ up to 24″ x 48″ single panel and 48” x 96” triptych (special single panel acrylic options available by custom order)
