Autumn Cascade

from $50.00

I had a short opportunity to visit this waterfall deep in the heart of Shenandoah National Park. We were visiting the area and drove an hour into the park and luckily found a place to park and head on down the mile long path to the falls. The water was icy cold, but it was the only place to stand to get the shot I had envisioned from a previous visit. Patience is the key when waiting for the various visitors to clear out of the frame (as one would leave, another would show up and stand right in the middle of my shot). One I had my moment, I took several shots to be sure I got what I came for. I love the result. I chose this this photograph for my wall. It is a 24” x 36” acrylic face-mounted print and it is gorgeous.
