Ice Wins
This is a hopeful title. Ice Wins is how it should be, but many glaciers are being challenged for survival. The Perito Moreno Glacier in Patagonia is amazing. It is one of the few glaciers that is maintaining its mass. The 250' tall glacier wall is imposing and as you take the boat ride across the lake, the sounds and sights of the calving of the cliff leaves you speechless.
There are a lot of impressive vistas around the world, but very little matches the awesome beauty of massive glacier walls towering overhead.
